Police ‘Investigating An Incident’ On Parliamentary Estate

NEW: Closure of ministerial corridor in House of Commons relates to a suspicious package that police are currently dealing with, I’m told.
An unnamed police officer in Speaker’s Court told the Press Association: “We haven’t been told much but a package has been left… It won’t be anything to worry about.”

An official police spokesperson said more details would be released shortly.
