‘Making A Murderer Part 2’ Trailer: Steven Avery’s Story Continues In Teaser For New Series

As we inch closer to the debut of ‘Making A Murderer Part 2’, fans of the crime documentary have been treated to a first look at the upcoming series in a newly-released trailer.

Netflix shared the clip on Tuesday afternoon, picking up the stories of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey shortly after where they left off at the end of the first series, with both of them still serving time for the murder of Teresa Halbach.

In the two-minute trailer, we see the reaction to the documentary, with protesters opposing both Avery and Dassey’s convictions, while others express their concerns for the Halbach family.

Avery is heard expressing his determination to get out of prison while his parents are still alive, insisting: “I know they want to be a happy family again, like we used to be. I want to see if I can put that back together. I want to make them happy, as long as they’re here, and that’s what I’m scared about.”

The trailer also introduces us to Avery’s new post-conviction attorney Kathleen Zellner, undeniably set to be a scene-stealer, who confidently tells us at the end of the trailer: “If this case is solid, and if he’s guilty… I’ll fail.”

‘Making A Murderer, Part 2’ will be streaming in full on Netflix on 19 October.
