Gemma Collins Slams ‘Loose Women’, Says She Will Never Reappear On The Show

Gemma Collins has vowed never to appear on ‘Loose Women’ again, branding the panellists “rude”.

The ‘TOWIE’ star made the comments following an appearance on the ITV daytime show in June, which some fans dubbed a “car crash”.

The interview saw Janet Street-Porter and other members of the panel criticise her for not writing her own book, ‘How To Be A Diva’.

In a new interview with Digital Spy, she was asked if she would consider becoming a panellist on the show, to which she responded: “Never. Never ever. Never ever in a million years.

“I was going through quite a difficult time. They invited me on the show and basically annihilated me.

“Not for me. I will never go on ‘Loose Women’ ever again.”

Three months on from the interview, Gemma says she is no longer interested in the show’s content.

She continued: “I think it’s bland, it’s boring, it needs shaking up,” she remarked. “I wouldn’t give them the pleasure of having me now – never again.”

“Everyone more or less that I know, goes on it and comes off very upset. It’s basically one person against four women. ‘Loose Women’ will never get me.”

Gemma went on to say that she’s moved on from the show, and is now set to appear in MTV’s ‘Refreshers Week’, following a recent stint on ‘Celebrity Masterchef’, as well as launching her own ITVBe fly-on-the-wall reality show, ‘Diva España’.

Last month, ‘Loose Women’ became the subject of controversy over their treatment of guest Kim Woodburn

Loose Women's interview with Kim Woodburn also proved to be controversial

Many called for Coleen Nolan to resign after an ugly clash with her former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemate live on air, which attracted over 3,000 complaints to Ofcom.

She has since stepped down to take an extended break from the ITV daytime show, revealing the trolling she has received online has been too much for her.

‘Loose Women’ airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
