We Tried The UK’s First Bleeding Vegan Burger

The UK’s first bleeding vegan burger has arrived and we were one of the first to try it at Mildreds restaurant, London, where it’s exclusively being sold.

The entirely plant-based burger, created by Moving Mountains, actually ‘bleeds’ like meat – although the juice that comes out when you take a bite is a lot lighter in colour and consistency than blood.

The recipe itself is a closely-guarded secret however we do know the burger is made from a combination of mushrooms, pea protein, wheat protein, soy protein, potato protein, coconut oil, beetroot, vitamin B12, herbs and spices.
