Grammys 2018: Blue Ivy Tells Beyoncé And Jay-Z To Shush, Sparking Hilarious Twitter Theories

Jay-Z and Beyoncé aren’t easy people to upstage, but their daughter, Blue Ivy, managed to outshine them at Sunday (38 January) night’s Grammys.

The family skipped the red carpet but took their seats at Madison Square Gardens in time for the show to start and cameras caught them enjoying the evening on multiple occasions.

However, there was one moment that stood out from the rest. Behold, Blue Ivy shushing her parents:

Proof that even if your parents are literally two of the coolest people on earth, you can still be embarrassed by them in public.

The question is, why was Blue telling them chill as Camila Cabello was speaking? Here are some of the best tweets on the matter…

Despite being the most nominated artist, Jay-Z didn’t take home any Grammys form this year’s ceremony.

Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar fared better, with six and five awards respectively, and both of them also took to the stage over the course of the ceremony.

Finally, Can we please for a minute talk about Beyoncé’s outfit? She’s giving us full ‘Dynasty’-dripping-in-diamonds-massive-hat-and-sunglasses-indoors fantasy.

We. Are. Living.

What. A. Hat.

Despite ultimately being snubbed in the so-called “big three” categories, last year’s Grammys were really all about Beyoncé, after she delivered a show-stopping performance that celebrated motherhood and closed her ‘Lemonade’ era in style.

Even Album Of The Year winner Adele conceded that Beyoncé should have bagged the award, claiming during her speech she “couldn’t accept” the Grammy because she was such a fan of ‘Lemonade’.
