Lorraine Kelly Forced To Apologise After Hungover Graham Bell’s Sweary Slip Of The Tongue

Lorraine Kelly was forced to apologise after a hungover Graham Bell suffered a rather sweary slip of the tongue during a live interview on her ITV daytime show.

On Monday morning, Lorraine spoke to the Olympic skier about how he’d commemorated the end of his short-lived stint on Dancing On Ice, following his elimination the previous night.

“I’m not going to lie, I am a bit hungover,” he admitted.

“It wasn’t much of a celebration. It was just come home, drink a couple of bottles of wine and binge on Discovery Of Witches season two.”

Later in the interview, Graham recalled an incident during the winter Olympics in the 1980s, that resulted in him being detained by police.

“We had a good party in Sarajevo,” he told Lorraine. “I was enjoying myself, climbed up a flagpole, was untying this flag, and all my mates are down the bottom.

“I thought they were down there and I looked down and they had been replaced by armed police, and I was like, ‘Oh shit’.”

As Lorraine gasped, he added: “I came back down and they took me back to the Olympic village in a police car but they let me keep the flag and I have still got it.”

“Sorry for that wee naughty word that slipped out from Graham,” Lorraine told viewers after the interview.

Graham became the second star to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice on Sunday night, after landing in the skate-off with Rebekah Vardy.

He had been paired with Karina Manta on the show, after his previous partner Yebin Mok was seriously injured during one of their training sessions.

Lorraine airs every weekday from 9am on ITV, while Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
