Great British Bake Off Unveils Star-Studded Line-Up For New Celebrity Series

Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall, Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and X Factor winner Alexandra Burke are among the celebrities taking part in the new celebrity series of The Great British Bake Off

A total of 20 famous faces will be entering the famous tent to help raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. 

Joining Jade, Nick and Alexandra on the show will be the likes of Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, Star WarsDaisy Ridley, Strictly Come Dancing champion Stacey Dooley, actor James McAvoy, rapper Dizzee Rascal and comedian Katherine Ryan

Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, comics John Bishop, Tom Allen, Rob Beckett and David Baddiel, YouTuber and rapper KSI, broadcaster Ade Adepitan, psychotherapist Philippa Perry, presenter Anneka Rice, The League Of Gentlemen’s Reece Shearsmith and singer Anne-Marie complete the line-up. 

Meanwhile, judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be returning to cast their expert eye over the bakes.

Matt Lucas will be fronting the series without co-host Noel Fielding, however.

Teasing the new series, Sarah Lazenby, head of formats and features at Channel 4, said: “What we all need right now is more joy. Bake Off is serving up yet another dollop of fun courtesy of some very willing celebrities.

“We can’t promise a huge helping of baking inspiration, but we can deliver some much-needed laughs.”

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer will return to Channel 4 in the spring.
