The Real Full Monty On Ice Viewers Moved To Tears As Celebs Bare All To Raise Awareness Of Cancer

Viewers of The Real Full Monty On Ice were left in tears on Tuesday night, as a host of famous names stripped to raise awareness of cancer. 

The ITV show saw stars including Ashley Banjo, Coleen Nolan, Linda Lusardi and Chris Hughes staging an ice-based performance that culminated in a striptease. 

Throughout the show – aimed to encourage people to check themselves for signs of cancer – many of those involved shared their heartbreaking experiences with the disease. 

A host of famous named bared all to raise awareness of cancer

They included former X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden, who lost both his dad and brother to cancer. 

The singer broke down in tears on the day of the performance, as photos of his late relatives appeared behind him before he sang Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas in their memory. 

Former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips was also emotional as she discussed losing her dad to cancer, while fellow Islander Chris Hughes spoke about his brother’s recent diagnosis with testicular cancer, which came after he had a live examination on ITV’s This Morning in 2018

A virtual audience watched as the stars performed to Lean On Me and This Is Me, before baring all to the Tom Jones classic, You Can Leave Your Hat On. 

A message saying “A check is for life not just for Christmas. So get checking…” then appeared on screen.
