Piers Morgan Brands David Walliams A ‘Treacherous Piece Of Work’ In Fresh Scathing Attack

Piers Morgan has deepened his on-going feud with David Walliams by launching a fresh scathing attack on the Britain’s Got Talent star.

The Good Morning Britain presenter did not hold back with his thoughts about the comedian in an interview with The Mirror, branding him a “duplicitous, treacherous, piece of work”.

Piers made his latest comments as he was asked about a potential return to the Britain’s Got Talent panel, which he originally sat on from 2007 to 2011, before David took over his chair.

However, Piers admitted he would never work with the Little Britain star, telling the paper: “I do have conversations with BGT every now and again, particularly after Simon [Cowell] had his injury. But I couldn’t work with Walliams.

“I think he is a duplicitous, treacherous, piece of work,” Piers continued. “He is one of those people who says one thing to your face and then sticks it to you behind your back.

“If he was sitting there I wouldn’t be interested. But if he wasn’t sitting there, who knows?”

It was recently reported Piers was in line to replace David when his contract expires in 2022 – something the GMB host did little to deny on Twitter at the time.

Piers’ feud with David can be traced back to October last year, when he noticed David’s Twitter account had liked a disparaging tweet about him.

Sharing a screen grab of the tweet, Piers wrote: “Amusing that ⁦@davidwalliams⁩ regularly ‘likes’ the nastiest tweets about me, yet is such a snivelling toady to my face. It’s not my fault ⁦@BGT⁩ ratings were so much higher when I was in your chair Dave!”

Piers later labelled David a “dickhead” after he made his debut presenting the National Television Awards earlier this year, calling him “smug” and “annoying”.
