Holly Willoughby Shares Lockdown TV Glam Routine: ‘Hoping This Is The Final Time I Do This’

Holly Willoughby has given fans a look at her This Morning glam routine that she’s had to do by herself during lockdown.

The presenter was marking her last day on the ITV daytime programme before her and Phillip Schofield’s annual summer break on Friday.

As she posted a sped-up video of herself getting ready for the show, Holly told of her hopes to be reunited with her glam squad – make up artist Patsy O’Neill and hair stylist Ciler Peksah – when she returns to screens in September.

Holly wrote: “109 days of lockdown… missing my @patsyoneillmakeup and @cilerpeksah_hairstylist. Here’s hoping this is the final time I do this.”

In the accompanying video, a make-up free Holly was dressed in a The Streets hoodie and could be seen blow-drying her wet hair and applying various products to her face.

Holly and Phil raised (several) glasses during their final This Morning until September

Since the UK went on lockdown, TV productions that managed to remain on air have done so with minimal crew, with all stars having to do their own hair and make-up.

This has sometimes led to some hilarious disasters, like Piers Morgan applying too much foundation, giving him an orange hue on Good Morning Britain earlier this year.

During Holly and Phil’s break from This Morning, the show will be hosted by Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes from Monday to Thursday, with various guest presenters taking the reins on Fridays.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
