Ashley ‘Minnie’ Ross, Star Of Little Women: Atlanta, Dies Aged 34

Reality star Ashley “Minnie” Ross has died at the age of 34, after being involved in a “hit and run” car accident.

Best known as a cast member of Little Women: Atlanta, which followed the lives of a group of little women living in the Georgia capital, Ross died in hospital on Monday night, a day after the road accident.

A statement posted by her management on Instagram explained: “It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms Minnie’ of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34.

“The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

Ross’ spokesperson later told Metro: “Ashley was a sweet and kind person with a big heart.  She was an advocate for St Jude and young women. She will be remembered for her contagious smile.”

A representative for Little Women: Atlanta has also paid tribute to Ross, telling People magazine: “She was the most beautiful, kind, giving, generous human ever. She was adored by cast and crew because she always wore her heart on her sleeve.

“There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for those she loved.”

Her castmates have also been paying tribute on social media, as has her boyfriend, music producer Slickbeatz:

Ross appeared in all five seasons of Little Women: Atlanta, and in recent years, some of her more memorable moments on the show had inspired a number of memes on social media.

The show was renewed for a sixth series last year, which had been expected to return later in 2020.
