As a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Michelle Visage has worked with many, many stars. But one person who it sounds like she’s not in a rush to meet again is Jessie J.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star has branded the singer a “cold person” in a new interview, claiming that meeting her was not a “nice” experience.
Speaking to Gay Times, Michelle admitted she didn’t get the best impression of Jessie when they met at a Drag Race show in Australia.
She explained: “When superstars come in, you don’t know what you’re going to get. You don’t know if they’re going to be standoffish, not nice, a total cold person like Jessie J was to us when we did the tour in Australia.
“I don’t care if you put that in there. It wasn’t nice, I was so excited and then I was like, ‘Boo’.”
However, Michelle did compliment the Domino singer (we think), adding: “that bitch can sing.”
Something tells us Jessie won’t be among the guests on Michelle’s new BBC Three show, How’s Your Head, Hun?.
The eight-part series will document her life in lockdown in Los Angeles with husband David Case and daughters Lola and Lillie, as well as video catch ups with some of her famous friends.
After it was announced last week, Michelle said: “I am so excited to give everyone’s anxiety and worry a rest with How’s Your Head, Hun?
“When you see how quarantine life is with my family and friends, we will all be laughing together! Get ready!”
Michelle was filming the second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in London prior to the lockdown beginning and flew back to the US when production was shut down.
The full interview with Michelle appears in this month’s Gay Times magazine, on sale now.
