Dynamo’s Mexican Border Stunt Will Have You Hitting Replay In Astonishment

Dynamo has pulled off some pretty amazing tricks in his career, but we think the latest might be his most astonishing yet.

The magician appears to walk through a border wall dividing Mexico and the US in footage from his new TV show.

In the clip, Dynamo is seen leaning against the border wall, which is made of large strips of metal, before appearing to slip through a gap and wriggling out the other side.

He described the stunt – filmed for new Sky One series Dynamo: Beyond Belief – as “probably the riskiest piece of magic I’ve ever performed”.

He said: “It took me three years of planning to achieve this and I’m just happy me and my team came back safe and unharmed.”

Dynamo’s new three-part series charts his recovery from Crohn’s disease, as he performs stunts around the world in locations including Tokyo, Mexico City, London and Los Angeles.

He was diagnosed with the condition in his teens, but it forced him to take a two-year break from his career in 2017.

Last week, Dynamo revealed he had tested positive for coronavirus, after a “rough couple of weeks” of “quite severe symptoms”.

In an Instagram post, he said he had developed a persistent cough and “lots of aches and pains”.

The 37-year-old said he was also considered a higher risk due to his underlying health condition.

On Monday, he posted an update saying he was feeling in “much happier spirits” after receiving an overwhelming amount of support on social media.

Dynamo: Beyond Belief airs at 9pm on Thursday on Sky One and all episodes are available as a box set on NOW TV.
