Orlando Bloom has unveiled his newly-updated tattoo, after fans pointed out an unfortunate mistake in the original.
Last week, the actor debuted some new body art in honour of his son, Flynn, which spelled out the nine-year-old’s name in Morse Code.
Or, at least, we think that’s what he was going for.
You see, no sooner did Orlando post the photo of his new tattoo on Instagram, than many fans began pointing out a mistake in the Morse Corde, suggesting he’d actually had the nonsensical word “Frynn” inked instead.
Fortunately, Orlando saw the funny side of the gaffe, and has now posted a photo of the corrected tattoo on his Instagram page.
“Finally dot it right,” he joked. “How do you make a mistake like that? #pinterestfail (read the small print).”
He also showed off a second tattoo in honour of his late dog, Sidi, who died in 2016.
“Fortunately I know how to spell Sidi. Forever my boy,” he added.
Orlando’s Morse Code tattoo also features a string of numbers, which apparently reference the date and time that his son was born.
Flynn’s mother is the model Miranda Kerr, to whom the Lord Of The Rings star was married from 2010 until 2013.
In 2016, he began dating pop singer Katy Perry, and the pair announced their engagement around this time last year.
Meanwhile, Miranda is now married to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel. The couple have two sons together, Hart and Myles, the youngest of whom was born in October 2019.
