Kelvin Fletcher’s Wife Insists There’s ‘No Drama’ After Strictly Star Is Pictured On Night Out With Oti Mabuse

Kelvin Fletcher’s wife Eliza Marsland has explained why she was spotted without her wedding ring after the Strictly Come Dancing champion enjoyed a night out with his dance partner and friend Oti Mabuse.

Eliza was pictured without the ring days after the former Emmerdale actor and professional dancer went for drinks at a central London hotel.

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday evening, Eliza insisted there was “no drama” and that she simply wasn’t wearing her wedding ring because it is “heavy”.

“That ring is heavy. It only comes out on special occasions. Oh, and it was fake tan day. #Nodramahere,” she wrote.

Kelvin and Eliza married in 2015, and have two children; Marnie, three, and Milo, one.

After he was crowned champ of the BBC One dance show last year, Kelvin has been on the road on the Strictly tour.

He is partnered with Janette Manrara as Oti films The Greatest Dancer, which she is a judge on.

Kelvin joined the show just days before it began, replacing injured Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing.

Following his win he thanked Oti for “the most amazing experience of my life,” saying: “I think this show represents everything that is amazing with this country, I think the people personify what is great and it’s just been an absolute privilege.”

Oti, who is married to Romanian dancer Marius Lepure, told him: “I’ve been on this show for five years and I have never ever met any celeb who gives his heart, his soul… for me that is the best gift and the best ending to my year.”
