Harry Dunn’s Mother Respond To Claims That Anne Sacoolas Is A CIA Spy

The family of Harry Dunn have called for a full public inquiry into the death of their son after it was alleged the woman responsible is a CIA spy.

Charlotte Charles told the PA news agency she and the rest of Dunn’s family were “full of anger” after hearing of Anne Sacoolas’s alleged past and asked of the British government, “how could they do this to us?”

Charles said the fresh reports in a British newspaper took her back to the early days following her son’s death when she claims the government “were trying to kick this all under the carpet”.

The Dunn family spokesman, Radd Seiger, has called for a public inquiry into the matter, saying foreign secretary Dominic Raab did not mention the suspect’s reported past as a CIA officer herself.

PA understands the family have since written to the Foreign Office asking for an explanation as to what they knew about Sacoolas’s history with the CIA.

When asked by HuffPost UK, a Foreign Office spokesperson said: “Anne Sacoolas was notified to us as a spouse with no official role.”

Radd Seiger, adviser and spokesperson for the family of Harry Dunn said in a statement published on Sunday afternoon: “The revelation by the MoS yesterday that Anne Sacoolas is a spy of course changes nothing in respect of the fact that she needs to come back to face justice. Everyone knows that.

“However, the fact that the revelation came from the MoS as opposed to the Government, raises serious issues not only for the family but for the whole nation. I was flabbergasted when the MoS called me to tell me.”

Sacoolas was charged with causing Dunn’s death by dangerous driving in December but US secretary of state Mike Pompeo rejected an extradition request for the 42-year-old last month.

The 19-year-old was killed when his motorbike crashed into a car outside US military base RAF Croughton in Northamptonshire on August 27 last year.

Sacoolas claimed diplomatic immunity following the crash and was able to return to her home country, sparking an international controversy.

The family of Harry Dunn and alleged victims of billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein have joined forces to put pressure on Anne Sacoolas and the Duke of York to “co-operate with law enforcement”.

Radd Seiger, spokesman for Dunn’s family, reached out to Lisa Bloom, the lawyer representing six of Epstein’s alleged victims, saying there was a “common thread” in both cases.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Bloom said the “parallels between the two cases are eerie” and involved “everyday teenagers” who were “victimised”.

Seiger said it was “terrible advice” for Sacoolas and the duke if they are being advised “it’s all going to go away” and they should just “wait it out”.

The pair joined forces to call for both Sacoolas to return to the UK and Andrew to face questioning from the FBI in the US.
