George Lucas met Baby Yoda and sci-fi fans on social media pretty much exploded with joy.
The Star Wars creator held the adorable break-out star of spin-off series The Mandalorian in a blurry picture that the Disney Plus series’ showrunner Jon Favreau shared online shortly afterwards:

Jon Favreau didn’t caption the cute image, but frankly, he didn’t have to, and the photo immediately went viral.
