Victoria Beckham Shares Photos From Cruz And Harper’s Star-Studded Christening

Victoria Beckham has shared photos from the christening of her two youngest children, Cruz and Harper.

The former Spice Girls singer confirmed the Catholic ceremony had gone ahead on Saturday, posting photos of the 14 and seven-year-old in their christening outfits.

Proudest of days today watching Harper and Cruz being baptized in front of our friends and family,” she wrote. “So much to be grateful for.”

Referencing her husband and the father of her children, she added: “I love u @davidbeckham”

The ceremony was particularly star-studded, as Victoria revealed in a snap of her youngest children’s new godparents, who include actress Eva Longoria, singer Marc Anthony, hair stylist Ken Paves and football agent David Gardner, David Beckham’s best friend.

She added: “I couldn’t be more proud of my children and thankful to my family, and the most wonderful Godparents.”

According to the Daily Mail, Sir Elton John and his husband, David Furnish – who are the eldest Beckham children Brooklyn and Romeo’s godparents – were also in attendance, as was Liv Tyler, the partner of David Gardner.

It had previously been suggested that Victoria’s sister Louise and film director Guy Ritchie had been chosen as godparents, though they were not present in the snaps posted on her Instagram.

And while David didn’t share any photos of his own from the day, Brooklyn did post a video of his parents dancing to a cover of Frankie Valli’s Can’t Take My Eyes Off You on his Instagram Story after the christening took place.

Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo were baptised in 2004, when they were five and two years old, in a chapel that was built in the grounds of the family’s old Hertfordshire mansion, famously dubbed “Beckingham Palace”.

As well as Sir Elton and David Furnish, actress Elizabeth Hurley was also chosen as Brookyln’s godmother.
