Justin Timberlake Apologises To Wife Jessica Biel For ‘Strong Lapse Of Judgement’ After Holding Hands With Co-Star

Justin Timberlake has issued a statement after pictures emerged of him holding hands with a co-star.

The singer and actor, who is married to Jessica Biel, was snapped hand-in-hand with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright on a night out.

He and Alisha, who play lovers in the drama, were drinking at a bar during a break in filming last month in New Orleans.

On Wednesday, Justin apologised to his wife and family in a statement on Instagram, admitting he had drunk “way too much” but insisted “nothing happened” between him and his co-star.

“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my costar,” he wrote.

“I drank way too much that night and I regret my behaviour. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son.”

He added: “I apologise to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.

“This was not that.”

Justin and Jessica tied the knot in October 2012 and have a four-year-old son Silas together.
