Señorita singers Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have shared a video of themselves doing what we suppose could be loosely described as “kissing” – and it’s already had a big reaction online.
The pair have been at the centre of romance rumours since the release of their duet – not least after their performance at the VMAs, when they leaned in for a smooch – with Shawn confirming that they were an item earlier this month.
On Thursday morning, Shawn shared a video of himself and the former Fifth Harmony star on Instagram, in which he said he’d seen “on Twitter and stuff.. stuff about the way we were kissing and how it looks weird… [saying] we kiss like fish”.
“It really hurt our feelings,” Camila added, before Shawn said they’d specifically made the video to prove to fans how they “really kiss”.
Now, listen. We completely understand that this video was made in jest. But the phrase, Camila, is tongue-in-cheek, not entire-tongue-in-mouth.

Fans of the couple have been waiting to see them share a kiss ever since they kept everyone (including audience members Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas) hanging at the end of their VMAs performance last month.
Their duet Señorita topped the UK singles chart upon its release, spending six weeks at number one.
