The new season collections seem to be coming in thick and fast, but the latest launch from & Other Stories isn’t one you’ll want to miss out on.
In collaboration with Swedish actor and musician, Sandra Andreis, the capsule collection has a bigger focus on workwear and ready-to-wear pieces that will find a home in your wardrobe with ease.
From a timeless collared white shirt and tapered trousers to a tulle maxi dress in burgundy, it’s slightly eccentric yet very wearable, with everyday basics sitting alongside investment pieces.
The collection is available to shop online and in stores from today, here are some of the pieces.
Dropped Hem Shirt Dress, £95
This is the tent dress reimagined so you can show off some leg. It has oodles of volume with the puff sleeves and mini ruffle surrounding the dropped hem too. A showstopper no doubt.
Long Hem White Shirt, £135
A white shirt will see you through every season and is particularly useful if you have a stricter dress code at work. The foundation for a formal suit, or an easy way to smarten up a pair of jeans, this asymmetric hemmed style is one to snap up.
Double Breasted Blazer, £165
Within this collection you’ll find two matching trousers to go with this jacket, so you can suit up in style when in the office. That’s not to say it’s not a very wearable that will be at home in all aspects of your wardrobe. When off-duty, use colour to accessorise it with statement earrings and tortoiseshell hair clips.
Tapered Trousers, £95
A tapered trouser adds an edge to your outfit and will elongate your legs. Form-fitting but not too much, this dark grey pair is an easy way to update a look where you’d normally wear jeans.
Knee High Boots, £205
A sixties-inspired knee-high boot is the ultimate way to brighten an autumn outfit. They’ll keep your feet warm and dry while looking good no matter where you’re going. Well, almost, perhaps give walking the dog in the park a miss.
Cocoon Coat, £175
This camel coat in a cocoon shape if particularly flattery for taller frames, and will keep you cosy. The single button by the collar means there’s no fiddling with zips or multiple fastening and the roomy pockets are perfect for keeping your valuable close.
Court Shoes, £85
This rounded heel is a perfect update to the court shoe style. Ditch the dated stilettos without having to compromise on height.
Tulle Dress, £95
We’re getting some serious Villanelle vibes from this dark pink tulle number. Layer over a pair of blue jeans if you want to offset its drama with something a little more casual or add some edge with a pair of biker boots and a leather jacket.
Colourful Wrap Dress, £95
A head-turner if we ever saw one. If you’re not shy of print, this wrap dress is perfect. The v-neckline and wrap style is flattering on bigger busts too while the length, in between a midi and mini, is as appropriate for drinks on the weekend as it is for the office.
Straight Trousers, £95
A straight-leg pair of trousers is a more relaxed way to take on the suiting style. Stay looking sharp by wearing with the matching blazer and a pair of block heels and a gold belt.
Black Ankle Boots, £135
A footwear staple in any wardrobe, a leather heeled ankle boot is a must-have. Made in soft leather, with a heel that isn’t too high to wear throughout the day but formal enough to take you from day to night this is a versatile piece worth investing in.
