Missoma is the jewellery brand loved in equal measure by Meghan Markle and ourselves, so when we heard there would be a new collection, we couldn’t wait.
Whether you recognise it from the initial necklace Meghan wore after the birth of Archie or the £85 ring that instantly sold out, it’s built a cult following.
The new season range, called Missoma X Lucy Williams 1987, is born out of a collaboration with Lucy Williams, a stylist, writer and travel photographer for her Fashion Me Know blog.
The collection takes its name from the year Williams was born, and is full of timeless pieces that take a nostalgic look back to the 80s and 90s.
There are delicate necklaces designed for layering (that Missoma is known for), intricate cross pendants and statement cocktail rings with distinctive detailing.
And luckily for us, the collection will be permanent, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on any limited edition pieces. Hurrah.
Here’s what we’ll be wearing this season.
Gold Large Ridged Hoops, £69
These ridged statement earrings are the classic hoop style, reimagined. Oversized but still chic, they’re the perfect addition to your jewellery wardrobe and will add a formal touch to any casual outfit.
Flat Curb Chain Bracelet, £95
Don’t dismiss a chunky gold chain, this bracelet is actually a staple piece. Wear on its own for your daily dash of gold, or pair with delicate charmed bracelets for a layered look.
Mini Cameo Necklace, £95
This Roman-inspired pendant is a striking piece that will certainly turn heads. Team with a crisp white shirt for warmer days, or over a black roll neck when winter arrives.
Gold Ridge Cross Signet Ring, £85
Start off a signet ring collection with this standout piece. Stack or wear solo – either way you’ll definitely earn yourself some compliments.
Gold Ridge Hair Clip, £35
Pearls are out and delicate gold is in for hair accessories this season. Keep loose strands out of your face while still looking stylish.
Gold Ridge Cross Necklace, £89
Mix and mismatch your necklaces, starting with this cross pendant as a focal piece. Wear with a simple outfit to let the jewellery speak for itself.
Square Snake Chain Anklet, £89
This piece, while simple, is eye-catching for any minimalist fan, but is also the perfect foundation to start layering with. Wear with a barely-there sandal to allow a glimpse of gold to shine through.
Snake Chain Studs, £165
Before you do a double take, these earrings are supposed to be mismatched. Adding an element of sophistication, the fashion-forward style is one we’ll be seeing more of this season.
Waffle Ring, £85
While we love a quilted bag – pillow clutch anyone? – we’re also obsessed with this waffle, quilted-style ring. Chunky, oversized, yet simple. It’s a winner in our eyes.
