A Vietnamese teenager who went missing during a visit to York has been found safe and well, North Yorkshire Police have said.
Linh Le disappeared from her tour group a week ago and concerns about the 15-year-old – who does not speak any English – were soon raised.
Tweeting on Tuesday morning, police confirmed she has been located.
They said: “The investigation into her disappearance remains ongoing & of the 10 people arrested, 2 remain in custody & one appeared in court yesterday.”
One of the people arrested has been charged with child abduction and facilitating a breach of immigration laws.
The police did not say where Le found, adding that the investigation into the circumstances of her disappearance remains ongoing
