A Love Island spokesperson has hit back at claims the same person was used as an extra in two of this weekend’s scenes, after viewers spotted similarities between a shopkeeper and a bartender.
Friday night’s show featured the boys enjoying a day out at a supermarket, where Anton Danyluk jokingly gave a shopkeeper his number.
Fast forward two nights and the lads left the villa again, this time along with the girls, heading to an “island club”, which just looked like another villa.
Once there, they were served drinks by a staff member who looked incredibly familiar…
However, when contacted by HuffPost UK, a Love Island spokesperson insisted that the shopkeeper and bar worker were different people.
Anton and his partner Belle didn’t have long to chat about the shopkeeper drama as Sunday’s episode ended with a shock dumping, which saw Caroline Flack arrive at the villa to reveal viewers had been voting for their favourite couples.
The bottom two pairs were then revealed to be Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames, along with Michael Griffiths and Joanna Chimonides.
It was then up to the rest of the Islanders which pair should stay in the villa, with the remaining couples voting for Anna and Jordan.
As Michael and Joanna came to terms with the fact they’re going home, another cruel twist was announced with Caroline revealing that the couple will be split up, with only one remaining on the show.
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
