Paul Gascoigne Challenges Snoop Dogg To Charity Boxing Match

Paul Gascoigne has challenged Snoop Dogg to a charity boxing match, as the feud between them rumbles on.

A row erupted last week when the US rapper posted pictures of Gazza – who has had a public battle with alcohol addiction – at the ages 20 and 47 on Instagram, showing the difference in his appearance under the words “alcohol abuse”.

Underneath, he then compared pictures of himself at the same ages, writing beneath them “marijuana abuse”, seemingly suggesting that it had less of an impact on his looks.

Gazza has since issued several responses to Snoop, but has now taken things a step further during an interview on Good Morning Britain

Speaking to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, he said: “Sometimes I expect it from the English press, but to come from Snoop Dogg… I’m a fan of his as well, I cannot believe it.

“I tell you what I’ll do, I’ll do a charity boxing match with him, cannabis versus booze, bring it on!”

Gazza continued: “For him to do that is really bang out of order and I was upset at the time. I try to look at the funny side of it, but there wasn’t really much of a funny side to that to be fair.”

He added: “I thought, why me? I remember watching him ages ago and became a fan. He must [know who I am]. I was shocked.”

So far, Snoop is yet to either apologise or publicly respond to Gazza’s comments.

Over the weekend, the former England footballer shared a video of him taunting Snoop on Twitter.

Wearing fake dreadlocks and sunglasses, Gazza was seen holding a giant fake spliff, and jokingly warning the rapper: “Snoop Snoopy Dog… woof! I’m coming for ya,” before signing off with a laugh.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
