A Night In With Bros To Air On BBC Four, Following Success Of Documentary After The Screaming Stops

If you enjoyed spending 98 minutes in the company of Bros in their Bafta-winning documentary After The Screaming Stops, then you’re in luck – the BBC is giving us a whole night of them.

The ’80s pop icons will return to the BBC next month, curating a whole night of shows for BBC Four, for what has been dubbed A Night In With Bros.

The evening will include TV shows and clips from the BBC archive that inspired the band in their younger years, while Matt and Luke Goss have also filmed new footage for the special event, picking up where Bros: After The Screaming Stops left off.

Matt Goss says: “Throughout our long careers, we have been inspired by so many musical influences, and we’re so excited to take a walk down memory lane and share some of our most favourite moments that have led us to this point.

“There are going to be quite a few surprises and we can’t wait to share this special evening on BBC Four with our fans.”

Luke Goss says: “As we prepare for our Irish and UK shows, we wanted to come together to create a whole evening of entertainment with friends and special guests. We wanted to show some of the music, film and TV that we grew up watching and create moments of nostalgia.

“Our documentary After The Screaming Stops has been supported from day one by BBC Four and they have been a joy to work with, so it was an honour being asked to create an entire night of entertainment. This night on BBC Four is a way of saying a big thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.”

Bros: After The Screaming Stops debuted on the BBC towards the end of last year, and quickly gained cult status as viewers (even those too young to remember Bros from first time around) laughed, cried and, indeed, cringed in equal measure.

A Night In With Bros will air on an unspecified night in July from 9pm, at the end of which there’ll be another chance to enjoy the documentary.
