Disney has shared a brand new trailer for Frozen 2, which reveals more about what we can expect from the follow-up to the hit 2013 film.
The new clip gives us a glimpse at the adventures Anna and Elsa will go on in the upcoming sequel, with Kristoff and Olaf the Snowman by their side, of course.
A voiceover hints at why they’ll be travelling across the lands too, explaining: “The past is not what it seems. You must find the truth.”
The royal sisters are instructed: “Go north across the enchanted land and into the unknown, but be careful. We have always feared Elsa’s powers were too much for this world. Now we must hope they are enough.”
“I won’t let anything happen to her,” Anna replies.
Frozen 2 sees all the main cast members – including Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad – returning, along with songwriters Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who penned the music for the first film.
After its release in 2014, Frozen became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, as well as the highest-grossing film with a female director, until it was surpassed by Wonder Woman.
A stage adaptation was also created and after a succesful year on Broadway, which will arrive in London’s West End in 2020.
Frozen 2 will hit cinemas on 22 November 2019. Watch the new trailer at the top of this article.
