Celebrity Gogglebox Ropes In Boris Johnson’s Dad Stanley And Georgia Toffolo

More famous faces have been announced for the upcoming celebrity series of Gogglebox, including reality stars, singers and figures from the world of politics.

While it’s already been announced that Rylan Clark-Neal, Little Mix and Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse will be taking part in the star-studded series, more celebrities have now been confirmed.

Among them are Boris Johnson’s father Stanley and Made In Chelsea’s Georgia “Toff” Toffolo, who will be passing comment on the week’s TV highlights, having bonded in the I’m A Celebrity jungle back in 2018.

Kelly Osbourne and her childhood friend Sammy Barratt-Singh will also be taking part, as will Emily Atack, who will be joined by her mother.

In addition to the stars already named, All Saints singers Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt have been confirmed as participants too.

Over the years, Gogglebox has had a number of one-off celebrity specials – with stars as wide-ranging as Naomi Campbell, Danny Dyer and Jeremy Corbyn all sharing their views on the best and worst British telly has to offer – but this marks the first time celebrities have dominated Gogglebox for a whole series.

Since debuting back in 2013, Gogglebox has also made celebrities out of many of its participants, some of whom have gone on to appear on a range of TV shows themselves.

The most notable is Scarlett Moffatt, who won the 2016 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! before landing a presenting slot on Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Celebrity Gogglebox begins on Friday 14 June at 9pm on Channel 4.
