Spice Girls Fans Complain Of Sound Issues Again At Second Stadium Gig In Cardiff

The Spice Girls’ stadium tour arrived in Cardiff on Monday for the second night of the group’s 13-date stadium tour, but some fans were left disappointed because of apparent issues with the sound.

Some ticket holders took to social media to complain that they could not hear the music properly from inside Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

The same complaints were made following the band’s debut gig in Dublin on Friday night, which Mel B acknowledged on Instagram the following day, saying she hoped the sound would be “much better” in Cardiff.

However, it seems there were still issues for some fans, with many pointing out that the same problems didn’t affect support act Jess Glynne:

However, not all of the group’s fans agreed, with many tweeting that they didn’t experience any issues…

All depends on where you’re sat by the sounds of it (no pun intended).

Sound issues aside, the group’s reunion shows have been a huge hit. Backed by a huge production, the 23-song setlist features all nine of their number 1 singles, as well as a few surprises.

Scary, Baby, Ginger and Sporty have six costume changes each – and there are nods to some of their most famous looks, including Geri’s iconic Union Jack dress.

They are set to perform another 11 sold-out stadium shows across the UK over the coming weeks, culminating in three sold-out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium next month.
