Should You Wash Your Legs In The Shower? The Internet Is Divided About Bathroom Routines

You think as adults you know the basics about how to look after yourself – eat three times a day, take toilet breaks and wash at regular intervals. But how exactly do you do that?

It turns out the age-old washing debate isn’t in fact about whether a bath or shower is better (obvs shower stop wallowing in your own filth people) but in fact which parts of your body are actually getting scrubbed.

The internet has been divided over the question – should you be washing your legs and feet separately? Or is the water and soap from your upper body sufficient to just trickle down your lower half?

More than 800,000 people have voted in a poll on Twitter asking about leg washing, which shows it’s something we feel very strongly about.

So far 81% saying they did wash their legs but 19% saying they didn’t (we’re betting the 81% also includes some liars who are too embarrassed to admit to the lack of washing).

And there were some strong reactions.

But there were others willing to publicly out themselves as non-leg washers.

Some people couldn’t believe we’re even having this conversation.

And someone else just wanted to throw a curve ball.

BRB, we’re going for a shower.
