Piers Morgan And Lord Sugar To Go Head To Head In New Episode Of Life Stories

Former frenemies Piers Morgan and Lord Alan Sugar are to go head to head in what promises to be a dramatic episode of Life Stories.

Piers announced on Tuesday that among the guests on the latest series of his ITV talk show will be the businessman, Apprentice star and his old sparring partner, Lord Sugar.

Although they’re known for trading insults on the regular, Piers has always maintained that Lord Sugar is among his showbiz friends, writing in the Daily Mail last year: “I’ve known Lord Sugar for 25 years.

“Contrary to the deliberate perception of mutual enmity that we fuel on Twitter, we’re actually very good friends. Yet we’re the kind of friends who delight in mocking each other at every opportunity – especially in public.”

Speaking about the upcoming interview, Piers has said: “I’ve tried for 10 years to get Lord Sugar to do Life Stories but he’s always bottled it. Now we’re going to finally get it on, and I predict fireworks.

“With his late addition, I think this new series is now officially the best line-up we’ve ever had.”

Lord Sugar added: “I know he’ll try to make me cry but he’s got more chance of becoming Pope. Morgan talks a great game but can’t walk it, as viewers will discover with this interview.”

Also among the celebrities appearing on the new series of Life Stories are Harry Redknapp, Michael Barrymore and Sir Michael Parkinson.

Then, of course, there’s Mel B, who made headlines when her pre-recorded interview was filmed last month, alleging that she and Spice Girls bandmate Geri Horner once had a fling in the 1990s.
