Warning! This post may contain some minor spoilers that some Game Of Thrones fans may wish to avoid.
As last week’s episode proved, pretty much anything is possible in the world of Game Of Thrones.
One thing that might just stretch the believability of the series a little too far though, is the idea there might be a local branch of Starbucks in Winterfell.
However, it seems like that could be a possibility, after one of the coffee shop’s trademark cups turned up in the most recent episode, which aired in the US on Sunday night.
In a scene featuring Daenerys Targaryen, a Starbucks cup was clearly visible on a table in front of her.
Ooops.
Obviously, it wasn’t long before everyone on Twitter was having a good old laugh at actor Emilia Clarke seemingly forgetting to dispose of her beverage before filming the scene.
Of course, it is not the first time an unlikely beverage has made its way onto the set of a period drama.
Downton Abbey fans famously spotted a plastic water bottle on the mantlepiece in a promotional photo of Earl Of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) and Lady Edith Crawley (Laura Carmichael) back in 2014.
Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones author George R.R. Martin has revealed three spin-off shows are being developed to take the place of the series after it ends later this month.
One called The Long Night is set to begin filming later this year, with scripts being worked on for two others.
The latest episode of Game Of Thrones airs on Monday at 9pm on Sky Atlantic.
