Keira Knightley and her husband James Righton are having another baby.
The actress, 34, who had her daughter Edie, in 2015, showed off her baby bump at a Chanel cocktail party in Paris.
She’s spoken previously about finding motherhood “f**king difficult”, despite being fortunate enough to afford good childcare.
In an interview with Balance magazine in January, the Love Actually star said she didn’t think people gave women enough credit for the “physical and emotional marathon they go through when becoming a mother”.
“I come from a place of amazing privilege,” she said. “I have an incredible support system; I’ve been unbelievably lucky in my career; I can afford good childcare, and yet I still find it really f**king difficult.”
And she acknowledged that factors such as sleep deprivation, hormonal changes and the natural shift in your relationship with a partner when you become a parent “are all things that make me feel as if I’m failing on a daily basis”.
So if you’re struggling, take heart, because you’re not alone. Even A-listers like Knightley, who’s married to the Klaxons musician Righton, 35, say it’s “not easy” – she’s even revealed that her daughter struggled to sleep through the whole night for the first three years.
