Three Stabbings In London Leave One Teen Dead And A Man With Life-Threatening Injuries

Three stabbings overnight in London have left a 15-year-old dead and another in a life-threatening condition.

The deceased was attacked in Somerford Grove, in Hackney and was given first aid by police officers before paramedics and an air ambulance arrived at the scene but he was pronounced dead at 9.49pm.

No arrests have been made and the Metropolitan Police has put a Section 60 order in place for the whole of Hackney, which allows officers to stop and search anyone in the area.

Scotland Yard said his family have been informed, the Press Association reports. 

Another teenager, 16, who was found with stab injuries in Shacklewell Road, has been taken to hospital but police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

Police were also called to Camden Road, near Camden Town Underground Station, at 12.17am, where a man was stabbed.

Officers and paramedics attended the scene, which is in an area popular for its nightlife.

The force said: “A male was found with stab injuries. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

“His condition has been assessed as life-threatening.”

No arrests have been made and a crime scene has been established in the area.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command have been informed.
