Pink may have missed out on bagging best pop vocal album at the 2019 Grammy Awards, but her kids were there to remind her she was a winner.
The singer was nominated for her ‘Beautiful Trauma’ album, but lost out to Ariana Grande on the night (even if Ari didn’t actually make it to the ceremony).
Thankfully, her husband and two kids managed to whip Pink up her very own Grammy – made out of tin foil. Posting a photo of her seven-year-old daughter Willow on the night, Pink wrote: “Thanks kids, my favourite kind of award.”
The Instagram post also showed a second picture of two-year-old Jameson looking rather confused while holding the alternative Grammy.
This isn’t the first time the 39-year-old has received a tin foil award – in fact, she gets one every year.
Pink, who has been nominated for a Grammy 20 times, told Ellen DeGeneres that her husband started the tradition of making her a trophy years ago. “And so, this will be my 17th tin foil Grammy on Sunday,” she joked to the talk show host before the awards show last week.
Willow and Jameson have since taken over the reigns of presenting the tin foil trophy to their mum. N’aww. Someone hire them for the real ceremony.
