Grammys 2019 Winners List: Kacey Musgraves And Childish Gambino Are Top Artists

The winners from this year’s Grammys have now been announced, and it was a big night for country singer Kacey Musgraves, who took home the most awards on the night.

Kacey – whose latest album Golden Hour peaked at number six in the UK last year – was awarded the big prize of the night, taking home Album Of The Year over Drake’s Scorpion, Post Malone’s Beerbongs And Bentleys and the Black Panther soundtrack.

She was also awarded Best Country Album, Best Country Song for Space Cowboy and Best Country Solo Performance for Butterflies.

Also on four awards was rapper Childish Gambino, who received the other two awards in the top 3, with This Is America scooping Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year.

The politically-charged track also earned the Music Video Of The Year prize and Best Rap/Sung Performance, though the man himself was not there to collect his award on the night.

Childish Gambino was not in attendance

Kendrick Lamar was this year’s most nominated artist, but took home only one of the Grammys he was up for, with the star-studded collab King’s Dead earning Best Rap Performance.

Elsewhere, Dua Lipa was named Best New Artist, while Ariana Grande was awarded her first Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, despite missing this year’s awards after a public with row with its organisers.

Because there are what feels like 700 awards dished out during the Grammys, we’ll spare you the full list, but here’s a selection of key winners from this year’s show…
