Joe Sugg Drops Girlfriend Dianne Buswell During Lift On Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour

This is the awkward moment Joe Sugg dropped girlfriend Dianne Buswell on her head in front of thousands on the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.

The YouTuber came a cropper as he attempted a tricky lift during a performance at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday.

Joe attempted to try and raise pro dancer Dianne onto his shoulders as part of their Paso Doble to Arctic Monkeys’ I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor.

However, he struggled to lift her far enough, with Dianne ending up crashing to the floor and landing in a heap.

The moment was captured on camera by audience members, who shared the video on social media.

Dianne later joked about the accident on Twitter, writing: “Had to happen at the O2,” along with an embarrassed emoji. “But I’m totally fine. Ready for act 2,” she added.

It’s not the first time the pair have blundered on the live tour, though.

Last month saw Joe and Dianne take a tumble when he lost his footing during the same routine.

Joe and Dianne reached the ‘Strictly’ final in December, but lost out on lifting the glitterball trophy to eventual winner Stacey Dooley and her partner Kevin Clifton

The day after the final, Joe confirmed rumours that he and Dianne’s relationship had turned romantic during their time on the show.

They later headed on a romantic break together before Christmas, alongside Joe’s sister and fellow YouTuber Zoella, and her boyfriend Alfie Deyes.

Joe and Dianne started dating after being paired up on last year's series of Strictly

Revealing what it’s been like on the road together on the Strictly tour as a new couple, Dianne recently told OK!: “We just get on so well. I never ever thought it would happen.”

“It’s been absolutely amazing,” she continued. “I’m really happy.

“It’s been great so far. The dancing is still exactly the same, and I’m still boss and get away with anything.

“But it’s been great, and it’s great to have him there and it’s just a really nice environment.”
