Donald Trump devoted much of his State of the Union address last night to pushing a familiar theme – his success with the American economy.

But immediately after the President wrapped up his 80-minute speech the dollar actually inched lower against a basket of major rivals.

And both the immediate market reaction and historical data show that Trump is being more than a bit selective with his facts with even Fox News questioning the accuracy of the assertions.
