I’m A Celebrity Fans Unimpressed As Shane And Vernon Are Heard Criticising Jessica And Jordan

I’m A Celebrity viewers were left fuming during Monday night’s show, when campmates Shane Richie and Vernon Kay were caught speaking less than favourably about fellow contestants Jessica Plummer and Jordan North.

During the latest episode of the show, Jessica and AJ Pritchard won just six stars of a possible 10 for the camp after taking part in a Bushtucker Trial in complete darkness.

While most of the celebrities tried to console Jessica after she admitted she was disappointed in how she’d performed, Vernon and Shane discussed the matter in a late-night private chat.

Vernon revealed to the former EastEnders star that AJ had told him Jessica was “petrified” during her challenge, to which Shane suggested she and Jordan – who previously won praise from viewers for facing his various fears – were cut “from the same cloth”.

“I say this every year I watch [I’m A Celebrity],” Shane said. “Why do they do it? They know what’s gonna happen.”

Vernon responded: ’The more you show [how scared you are], the more they’re gonna give it to you.”

Following the chat, Shane said he expected Jessica would be chosen for the next challenge because of her performance in the previous trial.

During the same episode, Shane said his nightmare would be a trial involving fish guts, which Ant and Dec later teased could be coming up…

Shane will tackle the Cruel Jewels trial in Tuesday night’s instalment of the long-running ITV reality show, which will see him undergo a “terrible treasure hunt”.
