Ecosia, the search engine that plants trees with its advertising profit, is on a mission to combat the harm caused by Donald Trump’s climate change denial.
Today, they announced their partnership with Trump Forest, a reforestation campaign formed to combat the US President’s damaging environmental policies.
All you have to do is switch your search engine to Ecosia, which works as an extension to your existing browser, and every search will contribute to the planting of trees in Trump Forest. (Eighty per cent of Ecosia’s profits from advertising finance reforestation projects.)
A donation of €10,000 (over 45,000 trees) has also been made by Ecosia to a reforestation project in Morocco to kickstart the campaign.
For Trump Forest co-founder Jeff Willis, we are all responsible for taking a stand against climate ignorance.
“Climate change is the single greatest issue our generation faces, but politicians like Trump are continuing to look backwards while actively trying to prevent the world from taking meaningful action to address the challenge.
“Now is the time we need to look to businesses to step up and help us forge a path to a cleaner future.”
Time to hit download and give them our support, guys.
