We can’t blame any one, global growth that based on economic state already become general platform of any business in this flat world. General view of knowledge already influence of industrial needs and it against the cultural philosophy of education. The basic need of education is to increase the quality of people, but now, there is circumstances that force all of knowledge chaser to fit the requirements of industrial needs.

Indonesian people, especially the engineer faced the situation “wanna be”, an engineer or a maintainer, off course all of this question have much consequences, and one of it is salary. People that really-really care about salary always think oppositely with the creative one, who can be named as the creative one if it compare to his salary, it is work, got paid to work.

Indonesia face serious problem in Manufacture Industry, one of government great idea is develop the manufacturing level (is it the goal?), by increasing technical level of human resources in Manufacturing Industries, SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan) or STM.

But unfortunately in Indonesia, big Manufacture Companies, the Multinational or Global one, really-really have less consideration to develop their brain-backbone, the main unit of development idea, so may be this that make Indonesian engineer (one with good salary) less productive.

And may be this that make Indonesia prefer patenting products that already exist (and fight into court to get the right), not to patenting the inovation or new development product.
